Andrews Liver Salt is an effervescent powder that acts as an antacid and mild laxative. When dissolved in water it produces effervescence that neutralizes excess stomach acid and relieves indigestion, upset stomach, excess acid and constipation.
Who is it for
It is suitable for adults and children over 3 years who need relief from occasional indigestion or constipation. It is not recommended for children under 3 years or people on sodium‑restricted diets or those with kidney problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women and those taking other medicines should seek medical advice.
Dosage
Dissolve one level 5 ml spoonful of powder in a glass of water and drink. This can be taken up to four times a day for indigestion or upset stomach. For constipation a higher dose may be used as advised by your healthcare provider; do not exceed the recommended dosage.
