Who is it for
This medication is for adults with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar levels are not adequately controlled through diet and exercise alone.
Dosage
The usual starting dose is 40-80 mg once daily, taken with breakfast. The dose may be adjusted by your doctor based on blood sugar response, with a maximum daily dose of 320 mg. If taking more than 160 mg daily, the dose should be divided into two doses taken with breakfast and dinner.
