Anacin 300 mg Sachet contains aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), a non‑steroidal anti‑inflammatory drug that relieves pain, reduces fever and lowers inflammation. It is commonly used to treat headaches, toothache, menstrual cramps, muscle aches, minor arthritis pain and fever.
Who is it for
Aspirin is generally suitable for adults and teenagers aged 16 years and over. It should never be given to children under 16 years due to the risk of Reye’s syndrome. People with allergies to aspirin or other NSAIDs, a history of stomach ulcers, bleeding or clotting disorders, gout, asthma, liver or kidney disease, or women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a healthcare professional before using it.
Dosage
For pain or fever relief, aspirin tablets are usually 300 mg. Adults can take one or two 300 mg tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed, but no more than 12 tablets (3.6 g) in a 24 ‑hour period. Always swallow the tablets with water and do not exceed the recommended dose or duration. Follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions, who may adjust the dosage for individual needs.
